Last Sunday was my mom's side of the family's reunion at the Montour Preserve. We thought it was going to be really rainy, but luckily it held off and we had a great time. Trafton had a wonderful time playing in the grass, dirt, and sand. He was pretty much free to roam for hours and he loved it. He didn't even realize that he was missing his nap until it was time to leave.
Having lunch in Daddy's chair
Practicing those walking skills
Finishing up a walk with Uncle Brub
Hangin' on Grandpop's shoulders
Playing with falling tree nuts
More walking time - notice how Trafton is wet from the knees down from all the crawling through wet grass he was doing
On the see-saw with Grandmom - only Trafton was more interested in the wood chips
I think I'll have a seat here.
Trafton's favorite part of the day! He found some older boys who were digging a hole in the sandbox and they were more than happy to play with him. He spent a ton of time just digging and playing in the sand.
Getting ready to head home - Trafton was incredibly messy from the wetness, the dirt and the sand, so I had to put a clean outfit on him for the ride home.
