Trafton is getting braver and braver on the moves he is trying to do, although he is not walking on his own yet. He is climbing everything and even attempting to climb down things he never should have climbed up in the first place. He is also starting to test his limits. Since he has been crawling and getting into everything, he has been pretty good at staying away from things we say 'no' to. Lately though, he has been touching things like the cat food dishes and opening the trash can lid, then looking at me and laughing. Even though I tell him 'no,' move him, and then he cries, he continues to push the boundaries. It was bound to happen someday :)
Trafton is eating all sorts of 'regular' foods now and even drinking a morning smoothie like Daniel and I do for breakfast! He loves smoothies :) He likes taking walks with a push-toy out on our sidewalk, throwing the small rocks he finds around our shed and driveway and just generally getting as dirty as possible. He loves taking baths now and although he hates climbing the stairs for bedtime, he won't fight when he hears the bath water running.
He opens this drawer up so fast and climbs right in when I am in the kitchen
We still have his baby jumper set up so he can walk around the outside of it and play with the toys. He also likes crawling under it, but sometimes he gets stuck.
Mmmmm, Mama's homemade chocolate cookies!

Trafton loves climbing on me. As soon as I lay on the floor near him, he crawls right over and on top of me.
Again, our little climber. He can get up in this chair very quickly. Sometimes he just sits in it, sometimes he tries to climb up the back (the imitation leather is very sticky and good for traction).
Sometimes he uses the chair to get himself on top of the side table. I love this face - this is the 'I am really exhilarated by where I have ended up, but I am also very frighened - could you help me out?' face. He also has a very cute breathless noise that he makes with this face. Sometimes he gets himself in this situation at the toddler playground, but mostly just on the off-limits items in our house. Like I said, pushing his boundaries.
Trafton started pushing this chair around when my parents watched him for the weekend last month. It makes for a great walker.
Trafton also loves his wagon walker.
He has recently figured out how to take the sides off and get himself inside the wagon. This pleases him immensely.
Trafton loves the newfound freedom in having the whole bathtub to himself instead of just the baby bathtub.
Finished with the day's skinny dip
We finally dismantled this changing table. It was starting to tear and when we looked up the weight restrictions, Trafton had surpassed them. Obviously he is way too big for it now anyway.
