Tara and Kenny Get Married!

On August 11, our good friend Tara married her charming fiance, Kenny.  They had the wedding at their farmhouse in Newville, Pennsylvania on a beautiful day.  Everything was spectacular - from the decor to the food to the music to the great company.  The personal touches made the wedding unique and excellent.

Instead of programs, the wedding information was written on an antique window pane displayed near the entrance/gift area.  Instead of a guest book, Tara and Kenny had rocks for guests to sign with permanent markers.

Guests were given birdseed and lavendar to toss at the happy couple as they were announced from the front porch of their farmhouse.

The musician played throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour - he was great!  He even burst into a chorus of "Light My Fire" when ceremony candles were difficult to light in the wind.

Reception area - the canoe was filled with delicious brews.

Dancing to Old Crow Medicine Show's "Wagon Wheel" - what a great choice!

Desserts included cupcakes, cookies and fruit - they were kind in feeding one another :)

The best part of the day for us - out of the house for the day and evening while my parents watched both kids!  Quay even took a bottle - something Trafton was never interested in.
