Last Monday, we celebrated Trafton's second birthday! We spent a relaxing morning at the park, then opened presents and had some yummy ice cream cake in the afternoon.
Sliding with Daddy |
Trafton wasn't interested in sliding by himself. He always wanted one of us to slide next to him. |
Coming downstairs after his nap - Trafton was pretty excited about his present display! |
The first thing he found was bubbles, of course! |
He was so excited by the Elmo balloon when he finally saw it that it only lasted a day or two. He kept running around the house with it beating things and hitting the cats and trying to stand on it. |
Playing golf for the first time |
Trafton has finally grasped the concept of opening presents and it's fun to watch him tear the paper off of things. |
A train puzzle from Karen and Lou |
I made him a durable photo album of all of his family members. |
More opening |
He was pretty excited by this box of new books! |
Showing all of his books to daddy |
Cleaning up all of his books and trying to get the lid back on the box |
Moving on to the outside presents - a bubble mower and a basketball hoop! |
Slam dunk! |
Swish! |
Running around with a very large ball |
Trafton decided to take a rest in the yard - all worn out from all the action of the day. |
Ice cream cake from The Big Chill - delicious! |
Happy Birthday Trafton!! |
