Yesterday, on October 1, Scott and Amy got married at Konefal's Grove in Dallas, Pennsylvania. It was pretty chilly and wet, but the wedding was beautiful and everyone had a terrific time at the ceremony. We all met at our hotel for lunch at TGIFridays, then caught the shuttle out to the site at 2:00. Of course, the fun began on the ride over and didn't stop until all the leftover wedding champagne had been consumed at the hotel after-party. It was a great evening, full of love and dancing and Magic Hat #9 (and maybe a shot or two).

The arbor kept falling down prior to the ceremony, so lots of people helped to rig it up so that it wouldn't fall again.

Joe found large rocks in the woods to hold up the flower pots.

Rich found large branches to provide more stability.

The arbor was finished and the white aisle was rolled out. It was quite windy, so Daniel helped hold it in place.

The maid of honor, Kylie

Amy's beautiful daughter, Kinsey, was the flower girl.

I LOVED Amy's dress. It was so pretty and she looked amazing!

Kylie and Kinsey look on as the ceremony unfolds.

Daniel was the best man and Scott's friend, Brian, officiated the ceremony.

Even though it was windy and cold, it was still a wonderful ceremony.

Kylie gave a touching maid-of-honor speech.

And Daniel gave a funny and heartfelt best man speech.

Time for more dancing

Tom and Katie and Katie's adorable little baby bump

We were all so chilly that we put on several layers to stay warm.

They fed each other very nicely.

First dance

Beautifully decorated pavillion

The dance floor was starting to fill up as the night wore on.

Rich and Joseph

Little Joseph had a ton of energy and moves just as stellar as his sister.

Scott's grandfather, Marvin, rocked the dance floor with the jitterbug (and he's 88 years old!)

Katie's dancing partner, Nick, kept her going all night long!

We just danced and danced!

Bouquet toss

Kylie caught it!

Rich and me - you can see in the background the large outdoor heater - that was a great thing to have on a night like this!

Back at the hotel after-party - me and Courtney, Jamie's fiancee

We brought along the leftover burgers and hot dogs from Equinox and grilled in the hotel parking lot. It was an excellent late night meal!

We are obviously having a ton of fun!
