Surprise Shower at BMS!!

On April 8th, I was totally surprised with a baby shower at school! I really didn't even see it coming - it was so wonderful! If you know me well, you probably know how much I truly love surprises - and this was a great one!!! It was hosted by Karen and Holly and held in the school's music room (Holly's room). I received SO many lovely gifts and am so grateful! The food was delicious (especially the cake)!

Easter

We spent this Easter on the mountain at Al's cabin home. We had a wonderful dinner the evening before and then a delicious breakfast cooked by Jonathan on Easter morning. Easter afternoon we hiked in the Delaware Water Gap at Van Campens Glen. Although I felt relatively good on the hike, I sure had to take it slow . . . the shortness of breath that comes with 32 weeks of pregnancy is quite intense! After our hike we stopped at the Stroudsmoor Inn Towne in downtown Stroudsburg (just down the hill from the actual Stroudsmoor where we were married) and had pastries. We also bought items to cook a nice Easter dinner for the two of us and as we were leaving one of the employees came after us and gave us a coconut creme pie - a whole pie! Maybe someone special ordered it and then didn't pick it up - I'm not sure what caused them to give it away to us for free, but we didn't refuse and it was incredible! We both love coconut so it was the perfect Easter dessert for us! Here is a picture of the Beyer family on Easter morning after an incredibly scrumptious breakfast and some pictures of us from the Glen.
