Advice?!

There are two things that I am totally interested in taking any recommendations or advice on - registering for baby items and books to read.

Registering
Next week we are planning to finish up most of our registering at Target and Babies R Us. We took one trip and were pretty overwhelmed with everything. We did manage to pick out a forest theme . . . hoping to find things with black bears on them in particular. After that though, everything else was just so much to think about! If you have an item that you particularly love or think that I should be sure not to overlook, please let me know!

Books
I have books that have been recommended to me so far, and they are all proving to be excellent! I have The Pregnancy Bible, So That's What They're For, and On Becoming Babywise. If there is anything else that you have read that you think I shouldn't miss . . . please let me know that as well!

I am getting super excited for everything! Despite all this wintry and wet weather as of late, I am reallly feeling spring fever creeping over me. Baby Bear kicks so much - it just always makes me laugh, especially in the middle of teaching - how fun! The nursery is underway - pictures of the construction project in the works to come soon. It is almost ready for the sage green paint that we have picked out, then some carpet. After that - we get to decorate!!!

Harrisburg Weekend

This past weekend we went down to Harrisburg to visit some friends. Tara and Jenny had a housewarming party in their adorable new apartment in Lemoyne on Saturday night and we headed there with Tom and Katie. It was a great time and also the latest I've stayed up in a while! We stayed with Tom and Katie just up the street and after a delicious bagel sandwich breakfast headed to Duncannon to see Jess and Joe and their awesome new house that was just finished last November. It is so beautiful and Jess has offered to have the baby shower there - Yay! Here are some pictures from the adventures.

21 Weeks in January

Things are still going very smooth - an easy pregnancy thus far and over halfway through. It's hard to believe. Each day it all feels more real as Baby Bear kicks and my belly grows. Daniel is able to feel him move from the outside now, so that's exciting! Here are some more recent pictures of the belly bump :) I am still able to head to the gym for some light exercise, so that's keeping me feeling pretty good, I think. I am getting more and more stares at the gym as my belly grows and the other day, I was on my way from the cardio machines to go stretch and a man I didn't recognize stopped me and told me that he had 'to give me props' for working out and being pregnant. Interesting . . . it made me smile :)
