Christmas with the Beyers

This year we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with the Beyer family at their beautiful New Jersey cabin home. Today I am 18 weeks exactly - the bump keeps growing!

Movement

Yesterday I felt three little flutters of movement! It was the first time I felt the little one move - so exciting! Overall I have been feeling very well. I have been lucky to suffer from no more that 4 short episodes of nausea (long gone in the first trimester by now). I have had an increasing number of headaches, but they go away eventually, so even that's not been too bad. I love to eat more than ever - sometimes my insatiable appetite really surprises me. I am especially enjoying (craving) hamburgers, berries, and cottage cheese - though not at the same time. I am really glad that I can still drink coffee! Even though it's decaf and Daniel and I have to make 2 separate pots now, it still satisfies that need every morning. The only thing that I find terribly awful is oranges and orange juice - not sure why, but my mother felt the same way?!
